Now open in the heart of Destin at 104 Harbor Blvd., Fatboys is serving up handmade burgers, wings with customizable flavors, yummy shakes, and more. Opened by Harshil Patel, the Destin location is a sister location to the original Fatboys in Enterprise, AL.
“We have a limited menu, but the menu that we do have we make sure everything is fresh,” Bernadette Gray, manager of the Destin Fatboys told The Destin Log in a recent feature about the restaurant (Read More). “You’re not going to find a frozen patty here. We make everything fresh here. We don’t keep frozen wings. Everything is made to order.”
All burgers are a quarter pound and made from 100% premium beef. There are nine different burger varieties offered on the menu with a meatless black bean veggie burger available as well. Creative combinations include The Hula Girl with a teriyaki glaze, pineapple, slaw, and swiss and the Firehouse with jalapenos, tabasco, onion straws, and pepper jack. Burgers are served on brioche buns or Texas toast and served with fries or a side salad. Gluten-free buns are also available.
Wings are served either traditional style or boneless. Sauces range from mild to hot with flavors including lemon pepper, bourbon molasses, mango habanero, and Fatboys fire. The menu has additional sandwiches such as a grilled chicken, a crispy chicken, a club, and a Philly along with a few salad options. Shakes are offered in four varieties along with smoothies and juices.
Fatboys is open Sunday-Thursday from 10am to 10pm, and Friday-Saturday 10am to 11pm. Indoor and outdoor dine-in service is available along with to-go.
