May was another HOT month for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 299 properties closed and 250 new contracts recorded for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $115 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.

A gulf front seven bedroom home in Destiny Shores was the highest priced property to sell during May in Destin at $4.972 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a six bedroom lake front estate in Four Mile Village at $11.75 million. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida represented the seller in this notable transaction.

The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a four bedroom gulf front residence in Villa Coyaba at $2.25 million. A five bedroom gulf view penthouse in Hidden Dunes Grand Villas was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.5 million.
