Sales were up in the Forgotten Coast real estate market in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island during June. There were 94 properties closed during the month with 113 properties currently under contract. St. George Island had the highest number of transactions for the month with 21 closings and the highest priced property to sell, a gulf front home in the Sands of St. George closing at $3.54 million. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida represented the seller in this transaction, which was also the second highest priced property to sell on the island year-to-date.
