Founded by Lindsey Smith in 2017, Love + Grow Clothing Company was born from Lindsey’s desire to build an empowering and encouraging company that would help other moms by designing stylish clothes for both mothers and their daughters. As a new mom, Smith wanted a career where she could utilize her passion for design and creativity, while staying at home to take care of her new baby
Initially sold online, Love + Grow’s popularity quickly grew from designing a few pieces each month to dropping a collection of pieces weekly during Thursday night launches on the company’s website.
“Our tagline ‘Designed with Love, Made for Memories’ was created as our company’s mission with the hope our designs will be worn year after year to make special memories throughout your children’s lives,” said Lindsey. “We strive to continue to create designs that are comfortable for the kids, look fabulous, and build a supportive community of moms.”
Initially based out of her home, Lindsey and her husband Nick moved the business to the Emerald Coast in 2018 after it grew to national distribution in order to find more space for both their family and the business. In the same year, the family welcomed a son, and Lindsey added boy’s clothing to Love + Grow’s permanent line. Love + Grow sells an array of kid’s swimwear, matching sets, dresses, sweatshirts, tops, t-shirts, blankets, footwear, and accessories for children ages 6 month to 12 years.
“My children inspire me every day,” Lindsey adds. “Depending on their interests and their moods, I have always designed the collections with them in mind. After all, they are the reason I started Love + Grow. After each release, we let customers know what is coming the following week. We are grateful for our loyal customers and love to see their excitement about what’s coming next.”
From its inception, Love + Grow has increased in size and popularity year after year. In 2022, Love + Grow moved into an 1,800-square foot warehouse, located at 457 Serenoa Road, Unit 10, that will serve as a design and fulfillment center in addition to housing the company’s first retail space where locals and tourists can now come to shop the newest offerings.
“We invite everyone to visit and see our latest styles,” Lindsey said. “We want our customers to feel the fabrics and see the vibrant patterns in person.”
