April brings good times with two popular Sandestin festivals! The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is hosting the Sandestin Wine Festival and the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival. Have two memorable weekends with wine and food tastings, seminars, live entertainment, and much more.
The Sandestin Wine Festival | April 7th – 10th 2022
The 35th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival in Baytowne Wharf is four days filled with unique events including wine dinners with celebrity chefs and wine tastings that showcase hundreds of wines.
Enjoy meeting the winemakers and learning more about wines and samples from comprehensive selections in all varieties, styles, and price ranges. Everyone can enjoy live entertainment, interactive experiences at the culinary tents, shopping, and dining.
It all starts with an official kick-off party on Thursday from 6PM – 8PM at The Village Door. The Grand Wine Tastings are on Friday from 5PM – 8PM and Saturday from 1PM – 4PM at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Also, enjoy Seas The Day yoga on the beach on Saturday at 9AM. On Sunday, wrap up the party at the New Orleans Bottomless Brunch at 10AM – 1PM at Hammerhead’s Bar & Grill.
South Walton Beaches Food & Wine Festival | April 21st – 24th 2022
Celebrate with three days of wine at the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival! Throughout Grand Boulevard there will be 600+ wines to sip and small bites to savor. All the proceeds of this festival support the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation which helps the children in need in Northwest Florida. The charities that the event benefits: Children in Crisis, Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast, Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc., Youth Village, Shelter House, Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Advocacy Center, Emerald Coast Autism Center, Horizons, Food for Thought, Opportunities, Inc., and Pathways for Change.
The festival starts off with Wine Makers & Shakers Thursday from 5PM—7PM at Wine World in Destin. The Craft Beer & Spirits Jam is Friday from 6PM – 9PM at Town Center and Grand Park. The Grand Tastings are Saturday and Sunday from 1PM–4PM at Town Center and Culinary Village.
