Real estate sales flourished during the month of March for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 303 properties closed (up from 222 in February) and 217 new contracts secured for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $139 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during March.

A gulf view, five bedroom home in Destiny was the highest priced single family home to sell in Destin at $3 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a bay front, six bedroom residence in Burnt Pine in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $6.6 million. 

The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, three bedroom residence in Regency Towers at $2.35 million. A gulf front, four bedroom unit in Hidden Dunes Grand Villas was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.1 million.
