Sales activity increased for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets during September with 163 properties closed and 127 new contracts secured for homes and condos combined. In Navarre Beach, there were 5 single family home and condominium sales and 8 properties placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $67 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during September.

A lake front, five bedroom home in Destin Pointe was the highest priced single family home to sell in Destin at $2.3 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was an eight bedroom home in Snow Drift Beach at $3.595 million.  

The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, two bedroom residence in St. Thomas at Silver Shells for $2.975 million. A gulf front, three bedroom unit in Southwinds II in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.1 million.

In Navarre Beach, the highest price home to sell was a five bedroom, sound front residence for $2.35 million while the highest priced condo to sell was a three bedroom, gulf front residence in Summer Winds for $800,000.
