Real estate sales decreased slightly on the Forgotten Coast during April in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 50 single family homes closed during the month with 82 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach had the highest number of transactions with 22 closings, and St. George Island had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front home selling for $5.5 million.
