Real estate sales continued on a downward trend on the Forgotten Coast during July in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 46 single family homes closed during the month with 72 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 15 closings while Cape San Blas had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front home selling for $2.35 million.
