A 70-year-old Mary Esther man is facing dozens of felony charges following a joint investigation involving local, state, and federal authorities.

Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Homeland Security Unit, working alongside Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, executed a search warrant at a home on Boulevard De La Parisienne earlier today.

According to investigators, the search was part of an ongoing probe into the online distribution of child sexual abuse material.

During the search of the residence, authorities say they discovered numerous files of child pornography stored on electronic devices inside the home.

The resident, identified as 70-year-old Dennis Cornelison, reportedly admitted to possessing the files.

He was arrested and charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography.

Officials say the investigation remains active, and additional details may be released as the case progresses.
