David Lauterbach of Destin to lead operations for the full-service hospitality vacation rental company servicing Northwest Florida
DESTIN, FLA. (August 29, 2017) – Russell Vacation Rentals, a full-service vacation rental company based in Destin, Florida since 2013, announces the appointment of David Lauterbach of Destin, Florida to the senior leadership role of general manager.

In his role as general manager, Lauterbach will oversee the daily operations of the full-service company which offers personalized service for both owners and guests; sophisticated technology solutions including an in-house reservation system capable of booking specific units (guest rooms) and a sales platform based on integrated e-commerce and marketing strategies.
Lauterbach brings to his role nearly a decade of hands-on hospitality experience. Prior to joining Russell Vacation Rentals, he was responsible for the daily operations of Miami’s luxury property, The Setai Residences, where he worked for three years. While there he led the property to a Forbes five-star rating status. Lauterbach honed his skills in several front-of-house roles in Chicago during his tenure at two five-star luxury hotels: The Langham and Public Chicago. A resident of Destin, Lauterbach also brings his deep knowledge of the local Northwest Florida tourism market having collected six years of experience at various times in various roles at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the largest resort on the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast. Lauterbach holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human and Consumer Sciences from Florida State University, where his focus was Housing/Property Management with a concentration in Leadership Development.
