DESTIN — Saturday’s cold weather didn’t deter hundreds of people from attending the Destin Christmas Parade along Harbor Boulevard.
Parade entries included a large inflatable teddy bear on the back of a truck pulling a trolley full children. Ms. Destin followed in a convertible.
Three young dancers from the Rise Dance Center dressed as dolls rode on a float designed to look like a musical ballerina jewelry box. There also was young man dressed in camouflage pants pushing an massive beach ball down the street as the children looked on in awe.
Keeing with tradition, Santa Claus made his appearance atop a fire engine.
