Gulf Coast State College presents annual Student Art Show and Spring Music Concerts

Panama City, FL – The Visual & Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College is proud to present a trio of free events for the community.

The Singing Commodores & Jazz Ensemble will perform their Spring Music Concert on Friday, April 19, from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in the Amelia Center Theatre.

The Concert Chorale & Concert Band will perform their Spring Music Concert on Sunday, April 28, from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Amelia Center Theatre. Although both concerts are free, donations will be accepted for GCSC Music Scholarships (cash or check).

The Student Art Show, showcasing the creativity and talent of Gulf Coast students, will be on display from April 22 – May 3 in the Amelia Center Gallery. The exhibition features work made by students in one of the many studio art classes offered at the College during the 2018-2019 academic year. Media included are painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital media and ceramics. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and admission to the exhibit is free.
