Cold Weather Shelters to Open in Walton County

Walton County Emergency Management has activated the Cold Weather Emergency Shelter Plan for Walton County this evening Friday, December 30th, 2016. The following cold weather emergency shelters will be open beginning at 5:30 p.m.

DeFuniak Springs Community Center
361 North 10th Street DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433

The National Weather Service predicts a temperature of below 40°F in Walton County. Freezing temperatures are possible late tonight through tomorrow morning, Saturday, December 31st, 2016.
