February was another steady month for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 205 new contracts secured for homes and condos combined and 222 properties closed. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded nearly $109 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during February.

A gulf front, seven bedroom estate in Destiny by the Sea was the highest priced single family home to sell in Destin at $6.65 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was an eight bedroom residence in Snow Drift Beach at $3.69 million. 

The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, four bedroom penthouse in Destin Towers at $2.25 million. A gulf front, five bedroom penthouse unit in Villa Burago was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $4.11 million.
