Real estate sales were on the rise on the Forgotten Coast during May in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 66 single family homes closed during the month with 72 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach had the highest number of transactions with 19 closings, and St. George Island had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front home in the St. George Plantation selling for $3.925 million.
