The Market Shops will host the OneBlood Big Red Bus®  for a blood drive on Friday, February 22, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot adjacent to Highway 98.
 
 OneBlood is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community asset responsible for providing safe, available and affordable blood. Generally healthy people ages 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood. Photo ID is required. All donors receive a wellness checkup of blood pressure, pulse, temperature and iron count, including cholesterol screening. 
If you are curious if you are a candidate for donation or to learn more about the importance of blood donation and how donors can target the power of their blood type, visit oneblood.org.

This Thursday, November 15th, The Market Shops will be hosting the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce for their Business After Hours event while also celebrating The Market Shops Five-Year Anniversary. 

As you walk around and explore, there will be complimentary cocktails, light bites, and live music performed by Boukou Groove in the Gazebo Courtyard! 
The event is FREE for Chamber members and $10 for non-members.

CONGRATS are in order!
Amavida Coffee Roasters has recently been listed as one of 203 companies in the B Corp community who are recognized as Changemakers. Three of their coffees also recently earned bronze medals while another earned silver in the national roasting competition: the Golden Bean Awards! 
This silver medal recognizes their Espresso Mandarina as the 14th best in the country! 
Amavida Coffee Roasters continues to host regular Roaster Tours & Coffee Tastings on the second Thursday of each month! The next event is November 8th.
Exciting things are also happening including a remodel and relocation.

    Let's Get 'Down and Derby!' 
    The Junior League of the Emerald Coast presents Get Down & Derby Fest at The Market Shops THIS Saturday, May 5th! Starting at 4:00 p.m., you can enjoy everything derby inspired from local restaurants, live music from Mose Wilson and The Delta Twang, superlatives for best derby fashion, and a LIVE viewing of the 144th Kentucky Derby! All proceeds from this event will benefit the Junior League of the Emerald Coast!
