The Market Shops Extends Free Concerts on the Lawn

The Market Shops, located at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, announced today that because of the success with its Winter Concert Series that the local shopping center will be extending its free concerts on the lawn through April. Beginning March 12 through April 30, 2017, every Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. the community is invited to enjoy free entertainment by local artists and bands.

The Dressing Room Boutique will host Catwalk for a Cause, an event and contest benefiting Children in Crisis, Inc. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, beginning at 6:00 p.m. 20 high school senior and junior girls are participating to win the prom dress of their dreams and walk the runway for a great cause. The participant who sells the most tickets prior to the event will be announced as the winner at the end of the fashion show and will win a custom prom dress of her choice. Tickets are $10 and available at The Dressing Room Boutique.

Ben & Jerry’s fans around the world can mark April 4, 2017, on their calendar as the local scoop shop will celebrate Free Cone Day at The Market Shops from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fans are invited to The Market Shops to join in on the company’s long-time tradition of thanking fans for their commitment and ongoing support. Additionally, guests who donate $1 will receive a second scoop as donations benefit The HER Foundation of Northwest Florida and Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Congratulations are in order for Sirens at the Beach! Darcy Pentel's beautiful intimates and swimwear boutique was nominated, by a prestigious jury, for The Best of Intima Awards 2017. In 2004, the Best of Intima magazine revolutionized the intimate apparel industry in North America by holding the very first contest to award the best lingerie stores in the United States and Canada. We've always known Sirens was award-winning, but it's amazing to see the boutique recognized nationally.
