Watching Oyster Rick work will flat wear you out as your hunger builds!

Rick McCurley is a virtual blur making sure no one in sight lacks fresh-shucked raw oysters, boiled shrimp, or oysters off his grill. Although he’s only been in business here in SoWal for about three years now, he’s made a huge impression on folks with his “oyster bar on wheels.” When he says he’ll “bring the Oyster Bar to you,” he’s not just whistling Dixie!

While SoWal is known for amazing beaches, water activities and fine dining - you're missing the boat if you haven’t checked out the fun at 30A Horse Farm at Arnett’s Gulfside.

Located on Hwy. 393 South about half-way between Scenic 30A and Hwy 98, the Horse Farm offers many activities including Guided Horse Rides, Event and Party Hosting, Camping/RV Parking, a very cool Wedding Venue, an on-site Boot Shop, and numerous weekly and annual special events.

We're gathered at Big Daddy’s Bike Shop to head out on the weekly mountain bike ride through nearby Point Washington State Forest.  I'm along for the ride and looking forward to the venture.
