FORT WALTON BEACH — Lois Norton celebrates Christmas practically all year long.Since 2005, the longtime PAWS volunteer has been making Christmas ornaments representing each animal at the shelter. Along with the ornament is a "Christmas wish" which could be anything from food to medicine or a home of its own. As 2017 draws to a close, it is good to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year as my term as Chairman of the Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners comes to an end, and as we look forward to the New Year and the future goals of the county.
