Event organizers are pleased to announce upcoming plans for fall programming at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. While locals and resort guests continue to flock to new merchant stores, free and family friendly events will provide entertainment and fun for all ages this fall.

Kicking off the season, The Village of Baytowne Wharf will host Baytowne Art Walk over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 1-3. This three-day festival is filled with world-class art and entertainment from some of the best artists in the Southeast. More than 30 art vendors will feature fine art, photography, oils, acrylics and sculptures. Guest are invited to stroll the streets of The Village of Baytowne Wharf while enjoying live music from Coconut Radio, Chris Alvarado, Matt McCarty and Scott Rockwood. The event is free and open to the public.

Bring together the #1 Resort on Florida’s Emerald Coast, beautiful October weather and a festive beer tasting and you have a winning combination for fun in the sun at the Baytowne Beer Festival, October 13 and 14.  Known as the “Best Beer Fest on the Coast,” this popular event features more than 200 craft beers, learning opportunities and live music at The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin. Beer aficionados will be able to sample domestic and international options, including specialty, seasonal and not-yet-released beers.

Also slated for return is Bubbly Baytowne, a free event that invites guests to sip and shop through the Village streets. Attendees can stop in various retail stores while enjoying a selection of premium champagnes. Dates for the event series include: Sept. 21 and Oct. 17.

For a third year in a row, The Village of Baytowne Wharf is throwing back to some favorite classic films on the big-screen. All Throwback Thursday movie showings are family friendly, free and open to the public. Guests are invited for a blast from the past with a movie under the stars, featuring: “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” on Aug. 31; “Mary Poppins on Sept. 28; and “Hocus Pocus on Oct. 26.

September Saturdays return to The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Guests can enjoy live and local music each Saturday in September from 7-10 p.m. on the Events Plaza lawn. Village merchants will also feature game day specials, and more than 90 TV’s to cheer on teams and enjoy great deals all weekend.

Grab your lawn chair and head to Baytowne for a FREE concert on the Events Plaza Lawn now through Oct. 25. Each Wednesday evening enjoy local and regional talent from a variety of genres.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf will also host International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Sept. 19. Kicking off at 5pm, the event will feature music and magic from local pirate Captain Davy, a costume contest, balloon sculpting, face-painting, and more!  

Guests are welcome to shop, dine and play at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, nestled inside the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, which is always open to the public. Visitors must enter through the main gate of Sandestin. The Village of Baytowne Wharf has a public parking garage and several auxiliary lots, which we offer a shuttle for our guests to the Village during summertime and for special events. Parking is free to the public.
