May 2020 brought a resurgence of real estate sales in the 30A Beaches market with 178 new contracts for homes and condos combined (up from 58 in April) and 80 properties closed. This month also included the highest sale year-to-date at $10 million. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida led the 30A market with over $52 million in sales volume and 48 transactions sides. The company recorded nearly over $59 million across Walton and Okaloosa counties.

A 4 bedroom Gulf front estate in Alys Beach was the highest priced single family home to sell during May – and for all of 2020 – at $10 million. This luxurious home included over 3,600 square feet, a swimming pool and incredible views of the Gulf throughout.

The highest priced condo sold was a 4 bedroom Gulf front unit in Adagio that closed at $1.475 million in the Blue Mountain Beach community.
