The Walton Republican Women Federated received the Diamond Award at the National Republican Women Conference in Philadelphia. This is the highest award given to clubs for exceptional work in both campaigns and service to the community and nation. The WRWF contributed over 20,000 campaign hours, countless contributions to local and state volunteer groups, and awarded 2 scholarships to local students. The club meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Cantina Laredo at Grand Blvd. The cost with a social time at 11 and luncheon meeting starting at 11:30 is $25 for guests and $20 for members. This is a great opportunity to meet and learn from local officials, candidates, and become involved in legislative issues. For more information visit the Walton Republican Women Federated Facebook Page or email Jean Wingo at JeanGWingo@aol.com for reservations.
