Nineteen nonprofits and 8 individuals have set up fundraisers for #EmeraldCoastGivesBack, our #GivingTuesday campaign at www.crowdrise.com/EmeraldCoastGivesBack2017.

Last year, nonprofits and businesses from Okaloosa, Walton and Santa Rosa counties joined forces and created the area’s first #GivingTuesday campaign called #EmeraldCoastGivesBack and quietly raised over $12,000 for local nonprofit organizations along Florida’s Emerald Coast to help those most in need.

This year, #EmeraldCoastGivesBack goal has been set at $100,000. Why?

Below is a list of participating nonprofits and their fundraising goals.

Air Force Enlisted Village, $10,000

Animal Protection League, $1,000

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, $2,500

Catholic Charities of NW Florida, $3,000

Children in Crisis, $5,000

Early Learning of Coalition of Okaloosa and Walton Counties, no set amount

Emerald Coast Exceptional Families, $5,000

Emerald Coast Science Center, $2,500

Foundation of Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, $1,000

Fresh Stars, $5,000

Habitat for Humanity in Okaloosa County, no amount set

Hsu Educational Foundation, $3,000

Opportunity Place, $10,000

Oxygen4Heroes, $12,000

Save Our Cats and Kittens, $3,000

Special Olympics Florida, Okaloosa County, $10,000

United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties, $1,500

White-Wilson Community Foundation, $1,000

Air Force Enlisted Village is hosting a Volunteer Day to decorate Bob Hope Village. AFEV Employees are having a Denim Day.

Arc of the Emerald Coast is hosting a social media Give $5, High Five fundraiser.

Emerald Coast Science Center is hosting a Maker Night for adults to help build museum exhibits.

K2 Media has donated billboards to promote #GivingTuesday and #EmeraldCoastGivesBack.

The United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties is hosting an Appreciation Day.
