Florida Highway Patrol is requesting the public’s help in finding the driver of a car that struck a Crestview teenager in a hit-and-run incident Saturday night.

According to a FHP press release, 15-year-old Jaidyn Mackenzie was walking west on the north shoulder of Stillwell Boulevard at Haburn Street when she was hit by an unknown vehicle at 9 p.m.

The vehicle in question did not stop and fled the scene. Mackenzie received minor injuries, according to the release, and was transported to North Okaloosa Medical Center for treatment.
