Teen with no license crashes vehicle

FORT WALTON BEACH — A 15-year-old driving without a license caused a rollover crash on Wright Parkway at noon Wednesday. 

The teen, who had five other juvenile passengers in a Nissan Pathfinder, was speeding while traveling west on Wright Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle near Spanish Villa apartments, according to Jo Soria, spokeswoman for the city of Fort Walton Beach. The vehicle hit a curb, rolled onto its side and slid into an unoccupied Toyota Tacoma.

One of the passengers was taken to the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. The injuries were not considered life threatening. 

The driver was cited for driving without a license and careless driving involving a crash.
