Walton County Launches Broadband Survey for Residents and Businesses

In October of 2017, the Walton County Board of County Commissioners approved a contract with Connected Nation to conduct a broadband feasibility study in Walton County.

This study will help to determine Walton County’s current internet infrastructure, and possible solutions to ensure that all citizens have access sufficient internet speeds, help promote economic development, and attract those whom choose to work and communicate from home to live in Walton County.

As part of that study, Walton County wants to hear from you.  The County is currently conducting a broadband internet survey in conjunction with our contractor, Connected Nation.  The survey covers many topics including what type of internet services our public has, whether or not they are able to get service and where they are located.

We want both residential customers and businesses alike. Please take the time to complete one or both of the surveys. Both are important for the future of broadband in Walton County.

You can access the survey from the county’s homepage at http://www.co.walton.fl.us, or by direct link at https://connectmycommunity.org/waltoncounty.

The survey will be conducted over the next month and participation is strongly encourage from as many Walton County residents and businesses as possible.
