PONCE DE LEON, Fla— Walton County Sheriff’s Office is currently on scene of a fatal house fire on 181-C.

Walton County Fire Rescue and WCSO were called to the home at approximately 12:40 AM following a 911 call. When deputies and fire crews arrived the home was fully engulfed. Two bodies were later located in the structure.

The fire has been deemed suspicious in nature. The Medical Examiner’s Office and the State Fire Marshal’s Office has responded. WCSO will release further information as more details emerge.
