WCSO AND DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH HOST POKER PADDLE AT LAKEFEST
For Immediate Release
April 11, 2018
DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla—In a little more than a week Lakefest will take over Lake DeFuniak for its annual festivities.
For the first time ever, Walton County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Health are hosting a Poker Paddle, a charity poker “run” benefitting Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Shelter House of Northwest Florida. Instead of “running” participants will paddle to each designated stop and draw a card at random. The card drawn is recorded on each participant’s scorecard, and the winner of the event is the participant who makes the best five-card poker hand at the end of the event!
Join us May 19th from 11am-2pm to help raise money for Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Shelter House of Northwest Florida!
