Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast Announces extended
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast has announced they will be extending program service hours to create a bigger impact on members. The organization, which is celebrating 50 years of service this year, continues to inspire kids to build great futures.
Starting the 2018-2019 school year, all Okaloosa, Escambia and Walton County Clubs will extend after-school hours until 7:00PM daily. Teen Clubs will also provide current members with Day Passes so they can share with their friends and invite them to see what is happening in the Club and get involved.
Clubs will also host family-style dinners two nights a month that will be open to members and their family. Dinners will create another opportunity for parents to become more engaged in Club activities and better acquainted with the staff.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast continues to evolve their services and programming to meet the needs of the communities they are a part of. After-school program registration will begin in mid-July. Contact your local Club for more information. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast was founded in 1968 with the mission “To enable all young people, especially those that need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.” For more information about upcoming programs, visit www.emeraldcoastbgc.org.
