Denae Richelle is a woman on a mission. Currently a color specialist and stylist at Salon 76 in Grayton Beach, and, after 19 years in the hair business, Denae has turned her attention to men’s hair needs. This powerhouse has opened The humbleman Men’s Studio in Grayton Beach. The studio, which caters exclusively to men and boys, is spacious and relaxing, with a laidback vibe. Denae’s vision for the shop is for it to be a cornerstone of the community. A gathering place, like the barber shops you remember, but with a modern flair. The services offered include men’s cuts, children’s cuts and beard trims. Finally, there is a hair cutting shop in South Walton that is entirely for men and boys. To complete her concept, Denae brought in David McGaha. A well-respected master barber with an extensive following, David built quite a clientele in northeast Atlanta. By the time he left for the Gulf Coast, David was cutting the hair of three generations of the same family! Many of his clients have their hair cut by David while they are visiting South Walton on vacation. This is the legacy David hopes to build at The Humbleman. David’s passion for his craft is evident in each cut. His carefree manner will have you at ease. This is a space that men and boys can call their own. The pairing of Denae’s concept with David’s talent and expertise is pure magic. Both Denae’s and David’s passion for their business is catching, as is their vision for a full service men’s hair studio. It is such a beautiful shop.
