WALTON COUNTY, Fla— Controlled buys orchestrated by Walton County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit lead to the arrest of a Samson man.

Stephen Jerome Peacock was booked into the Walton County Jail on July 29th following an investigation into trafficking in methamphetamine.

Meetings with Peacock were organized by undercover narcotics deputies who suspected he was selling, in some cases, amounts exceeding 28 grams.

Peacock has been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and use of a communication device in the commission of a felony.
