Top 5 Places to Get Brunch on 30A

1. Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer

Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer tops our list because of the amazing views overlooking the Destin Harbor. The revamped brunch menu is amazing. We recommend the seafood omelet. It’s delicious and packed with shrimp, lump crab meat, cream cheese, and sweet corn. You can also order off the lunch menu. As for their drinks, the Bloody Marys and mimosas are great. If you are celebrating a special occasion and wish to bring a cake, Brotula’s will serve it, cut it, and plate it at no extra charge. The restaurant provides a family-friendly environment and often has live music for people of all ages to enjoy. Brunch is on Sundays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We recommend making a reservation because it can fill up quickly.

2. The Perfect Pig

The Perfect Pig has three locations on 30A, one is just a half-mile from San Remo in Gulf Place on Santa Rosa Beach. Their other locations are in Seagrove Beach at the Shops of Grand Isle and in Watercolor Crossings. We prefer their newly updated location at Gulf Place because it is more spacious. Whichever location you choose, the service is friendly. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Since we are talking about brunch, we’ll share some of our go-to’s from Perfect Pig. We recommend the House Made Quiche with applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, and gruyere cheese. As their name suggests, they are known for their barbeque and do pulled pork perfectly. Succulent, deliciously spiced, and freshly cooked, you can enjoy it for brunch on a biscuit with bourbon molasses mustard. Brunch is served on Sundays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. with the lunch menu starting at 11 a.m.

3. Sunquest Cruises: The SOLARIS

If you want a really memorable brunch for your vacation, why not enjoy a meal on a 125-foot yacht? While not your typical brunch, the Sunquest Cruise Solaris offers a two-hour cruise (Gilligan and the Skipper not invited) on the picturesque Choctaw Bay. Enjoy fine dining with a menu that includes Chicken Piccata, Tile Fish, and Filet Mignon while listening to live entertainment. We recommend starting your cruise on the upper deck with the wind in your hair and a glass of wine in your hand. Then, savor every moment of your meal while you travel from one end of the bay to the other. After your belly is full, you can the dance floor as the DJ rocks the crowd.

4. Vue on 30A

Why do people come to our gulf front condos? The view, of course, and that’s why we recommend the Vue on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Just minutes from Adagio and San Remo, the Vue is one of the few 30A restaurants that has dramatic gulf views from your table. For brunch, we recommend the crab’s benedict or the vast omelet station. You can eat indoors looking out the waterfront windows or on the shaded outdoor patio. For special occasions like Mother’s Day and Easter, there is a fixed-price brunch menu with a buffet.

5. Mama Clemenza’s

Mama Clemenza’s offers a European-style breakfast menu. You will likely be greeted by Mama Clemenza herself, and she will tell you about the menu which is special every day – crepes, gouda grits, or our favorite, the platter of European-style pastry. Tiny and tucked away in Miramar Beach on Highway 98, it is convenient to our guests at Villa Coyaba and well worth the drive for our guests on 30A. The setting is casual, but the food is upscale. It’s a must for foodies and anyone who wants an amazing brunch on 30A.
