September was another fantastic month for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 206 properties closed and 215 new contracts recorded for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $89 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.

A bay front, five bedroom estate in Kelly Plantation was the highest priced single family home to sell in Destin at $4.3 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a gulf view, four bedroom residence in Caribe West at $2.645 million. 


The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, three bedroom residence in St. Thomas at Silver Shells at $1.75 million. A gulf front, eight bedroom duplex in the Townes subdivision was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $3.25 million.
