Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: Guided Plant Stroll
Monday, November 15, 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and Master Gardener Bill Kuenstler on the third Monday each month from 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m for a Guided Plant Stroll. Take a stroll through the park and the campground to explore the plants visible and to see what is in bloom. Visitors will learn about some of the plant species here at the park. Topics for the hike will vary based on the time of year and growing season. The program is on the third Monday of the month. This program is free with regular park admission. Yoga in the Backyard of Love

Moonlight Paddle on Lake Powell at Camp Helen State Park
Friday, November 19, 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm Come join Park Rangers at Camp Helen State Park for a moonlight paddle on Lake Powell, Florida’s largest coastal dune lake! The experience will give visitors a unique opportunity to view one of the rarest lakes in the world, while under a nearly full moon. The trip is approximately 2 hours and will begin with a brief safety review and interpretation on Lake Powell and why coastal dune lakes are such a rare natural phenomenon. Participants must be experienced paddlers and 12 years of age or older. Program is $30 per person, cash only. Space is limited. Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights

The Nutcracker Ballet at Seaside Amphitheater
Sunday, November 21, 5:00 pm The Merchants of Seaside will host the annual Nutcracker ballet to be performed by Ballet Pensacola. The Nutcracker performance has become a beautiful holiday tradition in Seaside. The one-time performance of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker performance is free and open to the public. Santa’s Arrival

Here Comes Santa Claus! Santa’s Arrival at Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Nov. 27 is a highlight of the season! The word on the street is Santa will be arriving by horse drawn carriage with the fireworks show starting sometime between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. You can visit Santa at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at his sleigh beginning Sat., Nov. 27, at his arrival celebration and during the Tuba Christmas event on Saturday, Dec. 11. If you miss those, you can still visit Wednesday nights Dec. 1-15 in the Village. www.baytownewharf.com.
