Fort Walton Beach Mardi Gras Parade
Ferry Road SE and First Street SE | Fort Walton Beach
February 13th, 2022

Celebrate Mardi Gras with the 2nd Annual Downtown Throwdown and Parade from 1PM to 5PM! The parade route starts at First Street and Eglin Parkway with floats lining up on First Street between Eglin Parkway and Perry Avenue. The parade will travel up Eglin Parkway, right on Perry Avenue, slight right on Ferry Road, ending at First Street.


Sandestin Gumbo Festival
Baytowne Wharf | Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
February 18th – 19th, 2022

One of the largest and most popular winter food events on the Emerald Coast, the Sandestin Gumbo Festival begins with a seafood boil at Hammerhead’s Bar & Grill on Friday followed by a daytime event on Saturday with live music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe, family activities, and the best gumbo cook-off on the Gulf Coast!

Benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of the Emerald Coast, the Destin Shrimp & Grits Festival is the Destin Harbor’s newest event showcasing of one of the South’s most beloved dishes! Enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and live music on the Destin Harbor while local restaurants compete for the best Shrimp & Grits dish on the Harbor.

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Find costumed dogs with their humans on unique and colorful floats, golf carts, and pick-up trucks along the Village streets for the Baytowne Wharf Mardi Gras Parade! Enjoy festive Mardi Gras music while parade participants shower parade-goers with a barrage of beads, moon pies, and other trinkets.
