 Pier Park will host its fourth Back-to-School Supply Drive July 24 through August 6, 2023 to coincide with Florida’s Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday. The drive will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County. WHAT: Residents and visitors can drop off their school supply donations at the Mall Management Office (600 Pier Park Drive), Forever 21, Dillard’s, Pink Narcissus or Tervis. Donations can also be dropped off at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County facility located at 16200 Back Beach Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413. In addition to helping a worthy cause, donors will enjoy significant savings when shopping for supplies thanks to Florida’s Tax Cut Package. According to FloridaRevenue.com, Floridians will pay no sales tax for learning aids and jigsaw puzzles selling for $30 or less, for certain school supplies valued at $50 or less per item, on personal computers plus related accessories priced at $1,500 or less and for clothing, footwear and certain accessories valued at $100 or less per item. In the Panama City market, activity slightly decreased with 52 homes sold and 37 new contracts. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida was in the top 5 sales agencies for Panama City Beach earning nearly $8 million in sales volume with 16 transaction sides in Panama City Beach and over $11 million in sales volume in Bay County. The highest priced condo closed in Panama City Beach was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence in En Soleil at $1.525 million. The highest priced single-family home to sell in Panama City Beach was a gulf front, six-bedroom home in Margaritaville Cottages at $3.925 million. The highest priced single family home to sell in Panama City was a canal front, five-bedroom home in Kings Point at $810,000. July sales decreased slightly in the 30A Beaches real estate market with 88 homes and condominiums closed and 56 new contracts. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida led the 30A Beaches market in transactions during July closing nearly $55 million in sales volume with 36 transaction sides.
