FULL Unofficial results in Fort Walton charter referendum released by Judge Christopher Saul March 25, 2026 9:40 pm Fort Walton Beach, Politics and Elections Judge William Stone has allowed the release of the vote results for five of the ballot questions posed to voters in March’s municipal elections in Fort Walton Beach   Here’s how each proposed amendment fared: Election Results: Referendum 2 by Christopher Saul Election Results: Referendum 3 by Christopher Saul Election Results: Referendum 4 by Christopher Saul Election Results: Referendum 5 by Christopher Saul Election Results: Referendum 6 by Christopher Saul   These are not the final certified results, which means the judge reserves the right to strike the results based on later findings.    You can learn more about the ballot propositions here.   Judge William Stone has issued a preliminary ruling on the motion to stop the referendum on a handful of ballot measures before Fort Walton Beach voters next week.    While the voting will still take place, Judge Stone ruled that many of the referendum questions posed to the electorate obfuscated the measure’s true intent and therefore did not meet legal requirements for a valid poll question.
