The Boys & Girls Clubs announced a new date for its first-annual Merry Little Christmas Concert. Celebrate the season of giving by joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast for a holiday-themed concert on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at the South Walton Club. Local musicians, including Chris Alvarado, Jacob Mohr and others, will take the stage and sing the season’s favorite holiday tunes.
“This concert is the perfect event to celebrate the holiday season,” said Shervin Rassa of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast. “The artists we’ve lined up are local favorites, and I’m excited to hear their versions of Christmas classics.”
General Admission ($35) and VIP ($50) tickets are available for the event, and all guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres. Additionally, VIP guests will have reserved seating at the concert and receive a complimentary glass of champagne. A cash bar will also be available. Guests can finish their holiday shopping with an incredible silent auction, featuring gift options for everyone on your list.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast works to promote and enhance the development of local boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence through its programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and citizenship. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County in an effort to revitalize programs impacted by Hurricane Michael. “The funds generated from this event will help us continue to work within the community,” said Rassa. “Because of support from events like this, we’re able to build great futures through a variety of programs for the children who come to the clubs.” To learn more about this event or to purchase tickets, visit www.emeraldcoastbgc.org
