The Coastal Seniors of South Walton (CSSW) have announced their January Workshop for Tuesday, January 15, 2019, beginning at 11 am. The location is 70 Logan Lane, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Amy P. Mullins, a Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent and Registered Dietitian, will provide a demonstration on Healthy Eating for the New Year. Ms. Mullins provides educational programming for the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, Leon County Extension, in the areas of nutrition, health and wellness, food safety, and food preservation. Amy has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science Education from the University of Florida as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University.
Just in time to support a healthy eating New Year’s resolution, this informative demonstration will be followed by a tasting of the prepared dishes, lunch and a raffle. Coastal Seniors of South Walton, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization for 50+ and older active adults who reside in Walton County, Florida. Annual membership dues are $15. per person or $25. per couple. Non-profit organizations and businesses can join this dynamic, fast-growing group for $35. and $50., respectively.
