June Sales in Review · Forgotten Coast

Real estate sales slowed slightly on the Forgotten Coast during June in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 58 single family homes closed during the month with 72 properties currently under contract. In the Panama City market, activity slightly decreased with 58 homes sold and 47 new contracts. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida was in the top 5 sales agencies for Panama City Beach earning over $12 million in sales volume with 20.5 transaction sides in Panama City Beach and nearly $16 million in sales volume in Bay County. The highest priced condo closed in Panama City Beach was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence in En Soleil at $1.05 million. The highest priced single-family home to sell in Panama City Beach was a gulf front, six-bedroom home at $4.5 million. The highest priced single family home to sell in Panama City was a bay front, five-bedroom home in Bunkers Cove at $1.725 million.
