The city is accepting applications to fill the Precinct 2 seat through November 2026. Eligible residents must apply by Jan. 2, 2026, to be considered for appointment. CRESTVIEW, Fla. — Crestview City Councilmember Ryan Bullard has announced his resignation from office, effective Dec. 31, 2025, citing increased professional obligations, personal responsibilities, and ongoing health considerations. Bullard has served on the council since 2022, during which time he became known for his advocacy for youth programs, special events, and public services, as well as his efforts to elevate mental health awareness within city government and the broader community. Originally moving to Crestview in 2012 to attend the University of West Florida, Bullard said he was drawn to the city’s small-town character and sense of community. He holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and human services and a master’s degree in mental health counseling. In addition to his role in public office, Bullard is a small business owner and a licensed mental health therapist.
