This generous contribution aims to support the Sheriff’s Office in ensuring a joyous Christmas for children and families in need within the community. For decades, the Santa Patrol initiative has been a beacon of hope during the holiday season, originating in the 1970s. Over the years, the program has evolved to collect not only toys but also essential items such as clothing, school supplies, and various donations for children in underprivileged homes. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office remains steadfast in its commitment to creating the perfect Christmas morning for as many children and families as possible. The Santa Patrol program, guided by School Resource Deputies, carefully selects families in need during Christmastime. The presents, thoughtfully chosen, are then personally delivered by dedicated staff members.
