Replacing the Port St. Joe Marina that was completely destroyed by Hurricane Michael, this exciting project from the St. Joe Company has been years in the making. With plans to bring “vibrant, sporting life back to Port St. Joe with its newest marina, centered around connecting members not only to the water, but to unforgettable service and unparalleled amenities,” Point South has been thoughtfully constructed to incorporate these key elements – location, amenities, dining, and programming. Many upgrades to the former facility will be available with one of the most prominent being the 63,000 square foot dry dock boat storage facility that will accommodate 252 boats up to 43 feet in length. June Sales in Review | 30A Beaches

Sales surged in the 30A Beaches real estate market during June with 175 properties closed (up from 139 in May) and 72 new contracts secured for homes and condominiums combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida led the 30A Beaches market in transactions with 51 sides and nearly $81 million in sales volume. The company recorded over $114 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during the month of June. A five bedroom, gulf front residence in Rosemary Beach was the highest priced single family home to sell at $21 million. The highest priced condo sold was a four bedroom, gulf front residence in Costa Blanca at $4.2 million. Grayton’s Underwater Museum of Art Expands with Nine New Sculptures

Divers explore new UMA sculpture Bloom Baby Bloom | Spring Run Media Did you know that South Walton is home to the nation’s first permanent underwater museum? In 2018, the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) partnered with the South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA) to create North America’s first permanent underwater sculpture exhibit, the Underwater Museum of Art (UMA). In June of 2022, nine new sculptures were added to the exhibit which is located off the coast of the Grayton Beach State Park in the Gulf of Mexico. The 2022 installation includes the following pieces of sculpture: Currents and Tafoni by Joe Adams (Ventura, CA), Pirate Shipwreck by Sean Coffey (Pittsburgh, PA), Bloom Baby Bloom by Brit Deslonde (Santa Rosa Beach, FL), The Seed and The Sea by Davide Galbiati (Valreas, France), Fibonacci Conchousness by Anthony Heinz May (Eugene, OR), New Homes by Janetta Napp (Honolulu, HI), Arc of Nexus by Tina Piracci (Richmond, CA), We All Live Here by Marisol Rendón (San Diego, CA), and Common Chord by Vince Tatum (Santa Rosa Beach, FL).
