ROSEMARY BEACH FOUNDATION PRESENTS The 13th ANNUAL GIRLS GETAWAY

Thursday, February 1 – Sunday, February 4, 2018

Rosemary Beach Foundation presents its 13th Annual Girls Getaway on Thursday, February 1 through Sunday, February 4, 2018. Held each year during Super Bowl weekend, Girls Getaway has become a tradition that many local women cherish.

“All ladies are invited to join us for a weekend full of entertainment, fun, laughter, and learning,” says Malayne DeMars, executive director of the Rosemary Beach Foundation. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate with old and new friends while supporting a great cause.”

The 4-day event includes a songwriters’ concert featuring Nashville artists Sara Haze, Alex Kline, and Jenn Schott; an interior designer’s talk with Ashley Gilbreath from the HGTV pilot – “Sweet Home Renovation”; a Shard Worx Art Class with Walton County Artist of the Year Mary Hong; Rosemary Beach® Tour of Homes; a Saturday evening bash and silent auction; Sunday Funday Brunch and more!

Amanda Baker from Fort Worth, Texas and Mica Wilson from Indianapolis, Indiana are cousins who meet in Rosemary Beach to attend the event every year. Amanda says “It’s a chance to surround ourselves with strong, interesting women of all ages and backgrounds while enjoying engaging programs. We’ve made friends here that we wouldn’t have made otherwise and look forward to seeing them again and again.”

Sonia Hankins from Madison, Mississippi comes to the event each year with her mother. “It’s a great weekend…there is something for everyone of all ages and stages of life. It encourages laughter. It is uniquely special that way. Rosemary Beach is a pretty magical place anytime of the year, but this weekend ranks right there as one of the BEST.”

The 2018 Girls Getaway benefits Rosemary Beach Foundation and its charitable partner, the Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Family Birth Place Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) expansion. The Family Birth Place now delivers over 1,200 babies per year and the new 10-bed Level II NICU will bring specialized care to the most vulnerable. The NICU will make a huge impact in Walton and Okaloosa Counties and will allow the opportunity to keep babies that need specialized care together with their families in one place. The new unit is projected to open in early 2018.

Make plans now to join the celebration. Bring your girlfriends, your mother, your daughter, and your grandmother! Space is limited so purchase your tickets today! Tickets may be purchased at www.rbfgirlsgetaway.com.
