Troy Kaszas has released his latest album “Country Hearts.” This album is certainly one I recommend for country lovers, or just basically good music lovers. Troy gave us a sneak peek in the form of a well-made video release earlier this year, called Alabama Lightning. It was a “jump out of your jeans” upbeat video, with some quality production. I have been looking forward to hearing more ever since. We were fortunate enough to receive a copy of Country Hearts last week, and immediately loaded it up in the truck’s CD player for a spin. To be honest with you, I love all of the songs, every single one. Everyone was well thought out, and chosen to be on the album for a reason. Troy has a unique voice for country music, not your country deepness like Trace Atkins or Scotty McCreery and not the strong country accent you may expect from this genre. Some of Troy’s influences are Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, Little Big Town, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Brandon Heath, Snow Patrol, O.A.R., and Blink-182. You can pick up on these influences throughout the album, and I could see this album crossing genre boundaries. Similar to how it unfolded with Taylor Swift. Taylor is played on multiple genre stations. The album is full of songs with perfect harmonizing, some fantastic duets, along with some beer rinkin’, boot stompin’ tunes. The voices chosen to blend with Troy’s were a perfect fit. Do yourself a favor and support this musician, fuel his passion. Troy works hard at his craft and deserves to see his dreams come true. Let’s all help make that happen. Get your CD / Album today!
