Hope on the Beach has been blessing new moms in need along the Panhandle with baby clothes, blankets, bibs, and hats. “Layettes” are a gift assembled from donated new and used baby items that include: hats, socks, sleepers, onesies, gowns, blankets, and bibs for Premies and babies 0-3 months. Since 2014, Hope has accepted donations and bought items to put together the Layette Gifts. Every winter church members work together to assemble all the donations and deliver about 100 gift sets to Sacred Heart Hospital. The nurses in the Birthing Center are given freedom to give the Layette Gifts to any mom they feel need them. Some moms may even receive 2-3 sets, if it is needed.
Hope on the Beach would like to invite the public to make a donation of new or clean and gently used baby items Premie or 0-3 months or a cash donation to be used to purchase necessary supplies that haven’t been donated. Hope on the Beach also invites you to join in the fun of putting these gift sets together. Join us on Monday, February 3rd @ 10 am to help sort and organize all the donations or on Saturday, February 8th @ 9 am to help put the gift sets together. Your help will be a blessing on either day. Please let Kristie Scheler know if you have any questions, 850-267-0322.
Hope on the Beach is located at 3834 US Highway 98 W, Santa Rosa Beach, FL. An elevator is located on the east end of the building.
