Closings slowed during October however new contracts increased in the real estate markets for the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 45 properties closed during the month with 117 properties currently under contract. Cape San Blas/Indian Pass had the highest number of transactions with 13 closings while St. George Island had the highest priced property to sell, a gulf front home closing at $2.6 million.
