SWHS senior Maddie Hiers wins 2018 Taylor Haugen All Sports Trophy

South Walton High School senior, Maddie Hiers, was officially presented the Taylor Haugen Trophy at the All Sports Association FCA breakfast on Friday, February 16, 2018, at Northwest Florida State College. Heisman trophy winner and former NFL quarterback, Danny Wuerffel (right), returns to his hometown each year to present the trophy along with parents of Taylor Haugen, Brian and Kathy. (pictured left)  Hiers is the tenth recipient of this award of prestige and honor, and plans to apply her $1,000 scholarship towards her attendance at Florida State University this fall.
