Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park every Thursday in July and August at 9:00a.m. for a weekly Ranger program. While the starting time has changed for these programs, the fun you will have learning new things about the park plants, animals and cultural history has not! The topic each week will vary depending on the Ranger leading the program. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water bottle, sunscreen and hat as most programs will have you exploring the park and occur rain or shine.This program is free with regular park admission.
Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association (NWFASTRO) for an evening of viewing the sun, moon and stars through telescopes on July 6, 2018 from 4:30p.m. – 9:30p.m. Solar telescopes will be out until the sun sets for you to safely view the sun. Then the astronomy association will switch telescopes and assist you in viewing any constellations, planets and other celestial objects that are visible. The program is weather dependent, and a decision is made by 3:30pm the day of the program as to whether the program can occur. Please call the ranger station before heading out. Participants need to be in the park before the gate closes at sunset so please be in the park by 6:00p.m. Event is free with regular park admission.
